Introduction:

Do apples keep the away?  Does one bad apple spoil the ?  Are you the apple of my ?   Are all red?  Let's try to find the answers to these questions by doing the activities below together.

The Task:              

After we make our apple discoveries we will create a classroom slide show that we can present to others.

Resources:      

We will complete apple activities and visit other Web sites to learn about apples.

The Process:  

1. Answer riddles about apple facts.

2.  Draw a picture in each square to show what apple seeds need to grow.

3. Draw an apple tree in each of the four seasons.

4.  Sing Johnny Appleseed songs with a partner.

5.  I wonder how many seeds are inside an apple?  With an adult, get 2 apples and a plastic knife.

6.  How are red apples and green apples alike and different?

7.  Now we will use Kidpix and each make a slide of something that we learned to show the rest of the school during the sharing assembly.
