Canadian Literary Centre

Consists of books and reference content from Essays on Canadian Writing Press (ECW Press). ECW Press also provides several individual monographs and biographies, essays and literary criticism. The databse includes book reviews, essays, author biographies, and much more.

Canadian Points of View Reference Centre

Content is designed to provide students with a series of controversial essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. The product has a deliberate Canadian focus that highlights the issues in the country of Canada.

Canadian magazines, newspapers, newswires and ebooks; over 66,000 full-text biographies and over 502,000 photos, maps and flags.

Canadian Student Research Centre

The Canadian Student Research Centre interface includes Canadian specific content(such as Canadian and International Magazines, Canadian and U.S. Newspapers).

E-STAT

E-STAT is an online learning tool specially designed for use by the educational community. Generate dynamic tables, customize graphs and maps using Statistics Canada's data.

Encyclopedia of BC

EBC is the definitive reference work on BC. With more than 4,000 entries and 1,500 accompanying photographs, maps, charts and tables, as well as sound and video clips, EBC is the source of readable and authoritative information on all the significant BC people, places and things.



English Language Learner

The English Language Learner Reference Center includes 1,000 main articles, written especially for English language learners. The articles tell you information about many different topics that you are studying in school. You can use this information when you are dong research or writing papers.

Literary Reference Centre

The Literary Reference Centre combines information from major respected reference works, books, and literary journals, as well as original content from EBSCO Publishing. It includes plot summaries, synopses, articles of literary criticism, author biographies, full text from over 300 literary journals, book reviews, poems, short stories, author interviews, and images of key literary figures. It also features a citation tool, a literary glossary, and a guide to literary research.

NoveList Plus

The NoveList Plus database contains fiction and narrative nonfiction titles for all ages, from your youngest readers to adults. Additionally, NoveList Plus includes Book Discussion Guides, thematic book lists, and reading and book oriented articles.

NoveList K-8 Plus

The NoveList K-8 Plus database includes fiction and nonfiction titles for children and teens. It contains BookTalks, Curricular Connection Articles and hundreds of premade lists both for young readers (Recommended Reads) and for teachers (Grab and go Book Lists).
