ROCKY MOUNTAIN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT PROGRAM

The International Student Program in School District No. 6 is one of the oldest and most highly-regarded in Canada. Over 60 students participated in the program for the 2008/09 school year including 13 at Golden Secondary School. This year's students come from a variety of countries including Spain, Germany, Japan, Korea, India, Taiwan and Australia.

STUDY ABROAD IN CANADA

School District No. 6 hosts international students with a wide range of personal goals. The graduation program at Golden Secondary School is very popular. Students attend GSS for Grades 10 - 12 and are rewarded with the British Columbia Ministry of Education's world-renowned Dogwood Diploma. Shorter-term programs focus on cultural immersion and English language acquisition and are available to individual students and groups.
