Students who are identified with special needs receive support through the special education program at Golden Secondary. Students, parents, teachers, and other specialists meet and develop an individual educational plan which includes goals and objectives for the school year. Some students are on adapted programs leading to the completion of a Dogwood Certificate and some students are on modified programs leading to an Evergreen (formerly a School Completion) Certificate.
