Stay in School Program

The Youth Care Worker (Stay In School Coordinator) monitors attendance on a daily basis, provides encouragement and support for students to attend regularly, liaisons between students, parents and teachers for students at-risk of failing or missing school, and organizes special field trips such as P.A.R.T.Y. and special activities such as a lunchtime games and movie room.

The P.A.R.T.Y. (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth) Program

Students participate in the PARTY program, going on trips to trauma centers, listening to speakers, other teens and the police speak about the dangers of not partying safely. Students learn how to take care of themselves and their friends, and how to avoid the dangers associated with the use of drugs and alcohol.
