This is a B.C. Approved Senior Secondary School course available to all horse lovers and to students who have chosen a career involving horses such as guide outfitting, or ranching. The course is available at no cost to all grade 8 to 12 students in BC and all BC adults. All three courses are Accredited BC Dogwood Graduation elective courses and earn 4 credits each.

"Student will learn about horse physiology, psychology, different breeds, riding aids, health issues, horse care, training techniques, and careers. Students will receive instruction at their own rate via email. There is a student centered unit in each course. Additional Graduation credits can be awarded for Equine Canada Rider Levels."
