Welcome to our 2017 – 2018 school year!!!
My name is Joseph Baron and I am the new Principal of Windermere Elementary School. My family and I are thrilled to finally call this area our home! I am looking forward to meeting you all throughout the year. My door is always open so please feel free to stop on by if you have any questions or would just like to touch base.
The start of a new school year always brings a sense of excitement and anticipation. It is also one of reestablishment into routines and procedures for us all. Readjusting takes a little time but soon it's back to business as usual. WES has a strong foundation of school expectations that both staff and students adhere to. This makes WES a safe and organized place to learn. This foundation in rooted in the WES School Pillars:
At Windermere Elementary School:
We take care of others
We take care of ourselves
We take care of this place
These pillars are cited each and every day for students to create a culture of support, understanding, inclusion, and respect. Parents/guardians, please also refer to your child's planner as it references our WES Code of Conduct. These guidelines along with our school pillars lay the important grounds of which this school operates.
Parents/guardians, we encourage you to get involved with your child's learning. Please be in contact with your child's teacher on what supports you can provide throughout the year. Please also remember that it is your child's teacher that is the first line of communication.
Thank you! On behalf of the wonderful teaching staff at WES, we look forward to working and growing with you and your child this school year! It's going to be a great one.
