Our Zones
Our district is divided into three zones along the length of the Columbia
Valley in South East British Columbia, Canada. SD6 includes Golden in the
North, centrally located Windermere and Kimberley in the South. We cover
a diverse cultural and geographical area in a beautiful part of the world
we are proud to call home.School Distict 6 is served by Cranbrook International Airport as well as smaller airports throughout the valley. Road access is via Highway 3 & 95a in the South, 93 at Radium and Highway 1 & 95 in the North.

Paralympic reporting!
Date: 2010-02-23Kate Gibbs, grade 9 student at Invermere’s DTSS, met Paralympic skier Luke Donovan at the Cranbrook airport when each returned home from their travels in January.
