Our District

Bow Lake Situated in the midst of a rich mountain landscape, surrounded by numerous provincial and national parks, Rocky Mountain School District strives to "Care deeply, act wisely and find joy in every day."

Our Zones

Columbia Lake Our district is divided into three zones along the length of the Columbia Valley in South East British Columbia, Canada. SD6 includes Golden in the North, centrally located Windermere and Kimberley in the South. We cover a diverse cultural and geographical area in a beautiful part of the world we are proud to call home.

School Distict 6 is served by Cranbrook International Airport as well as smaller airports throughout the valley. Road access is via Highway 3 & 95a in the South, 93 at Radium and Highway 1 & 95 in the North.
