How to Book
The last day for programs to be funded through WVFK for the 2009-10 school year is June 18th 2010. Schools are more than welcome to use the presenters after June 18th but each school is responsible for all costs for these programs.Each school district has its own contact person. Please be sure to follow the directions for your school district.
CHOOSING A PRESENTATION
Search the website's database either by "Program Titles" or "Presenters", or by keyword under "Search". You will need to choose your school district from the drop-down menu. Select a program that meets your educational goals. Make note of any specific details such as if the presentation is class-based or a field trip, when and where the program may be available, or attached PDFs to download extra information. If a WVFK presenter contacts you directly to promote their program and you book with them, please go to Step #4. Once you receive the above information contact the presenter to make your arrangements and complete the Booking Form.BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Send your booking form by fax or email to your school district contact (above). As all programs are booked on a first-come basis the sooner you confirm the sooner you are guaranteed funding. Funding for your program will not be guaranteed unless the Booking Form is confirmed!EVALUATIONS
Once your booking has been confirmed, you will be sent evaluation forms which allow both you and your students to provide constructive feedback on your presentation. We also require that you submit at least 2 digital photos documenting your presentation. These evaluations and photos are critical to the long-term success of WVFK, and therefore must be returned to the DRC within one (1) week of your presentation. NOTE: presenters will NOT receive their honoraria, nor will bussing costs be paid, until you have submitted your evaluation form and photos to the DRC.Thank you for following each of these important steps and enjoy your program!
