JUSTB4 Pilot Program

The Rocky Mountain School District is excited to continue offering a licensed Pre-K Program in Kimberley for children who will be starting Kindergarten in September 2025! JUSTB4 is a Ministry of Education and Child Care provincial pilot project and is specifically designed to offer early learning experiences for children who are turning 5 by December 31, 2025.

JUSTB4 is facilitated by a certified Early Childhood Educator and an Early Childhood Educator Assistant. The focus is on utilizing the BC Early Learning Framework and taking a whole-child approach to teaching and learning. Children will play an active role in guiding the learning through play-based activities and social interactions.

The program is now accepting registrations for the 2024-25 school year! The program will run Monday-Friday from 1:00-3:00 at the Blarchmont Learning Centre in Room #1 and will mostly follow the SD6 School Calendar. The only difference between the school calendar and the JUSTB4 calendar is that the first day for JUSTB4 will be Monday, September 9.

For more information about how to register and to access our Parent Handbook, please read below.
