Dear WES Parents/Guardians,

I hope you all have had a wonderful summer with your families.

Please see the attached document which outlines our school reentry plan for the 2020-2021 school year.  I would like to thank you for your patience pertaining to this.  Schools within our zone and district were tasked with completing a plan which had to be shared with stakeholder groups and then, finally, approved by the BC Ministry of Education before their release.  I am pleased to share this plan with you now.

This plan, though approved, is subject to change as required.  Please consider it a strong starting point but a fluid and living document.  I hope that this plan will answer some of your questions about the upcoming year.  A reminder that the start date for students has been pushed until Thursday September 10th, 2020.  This additional time has been provided for schools across our province to better prepare for a more successful start to the year.

If you have any further questions about the document, please do not hesitate to reach out to our school for further information.

Thank you everyone and we look forward to welcoming our student back on Thursday September 10th, 2020!

Take care,

Mr. Joe Baron
