Columbia Basin Bursaries

The Trevor Linden Community Spirit Scholarship recognizes four student leaders in the province of British Columbia who are entering their first year of post secondary education, and have made exceptional contributions in the following areas:

  • School and community service, leadership
  • Initiating community development
  • Affecting positive change
  • Mentoring others
  • Personal development and growth

Taking the time to do something for others during difficult times in one’s own life requires particularly outstanding commitment. This is why, as part of the selection process, the personal circumstances and/or challenges of each applicant will be considered. Applicants who possess personal qualities such as dedication, commitment to helping others and strength of character will also be considered.

Canucks Grant

 
Vancouver Canucks Alumni Foundation and Gino Odjick's charity have come together to offer two full scholarships for BC-based hockey community students!
 
Gino Odjick Grant Program
Full-tuition scholarship for a student who plays hockey in an organized hockey league, eligible for the Undergraduate or MBA programs (up to $40,600 CAD). Preference will be given to individuals with Indigenous status as defined by the Government of Canada.
 
Eligibility Details: Applicant must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of application and meet UCW's admissions criteria (Undergraduate or MBA). The grants are valid for a student starting their studies in the Fall 2025 Term.
