Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 has an important reminder for all motorists.

We know a yellow light means slow down and prepare to stop, and a red light means stop. School bus warning lights mean the same thing.  Flashing yellow lights mean caution, the bus is preparing to stop.  Flashing red lights mean stop, children are boarding or preparing to leave the school bus.  It’s not just an offence to drive past a school bus when the red lights are flashing; it risks the life of a child.

Please don’t rush the bus.
