Host Families Needed for September 2025! 

Five (5) international students who are attending David Thompson Secondary School in September 2025 still need a caring host family to live with for 5 or 10 months. 

The incoming students are a mix of girls and boys from Germany and Spain in grades 10 or 11. They chose to live in Invermere because they love the outdoors and are active, and they want to meet new people and learn about Canadian culture.

Information about hosting:

• Host families come in all shapes and sizes from nuclear families with children to retired couples and single parents.
• Host families receive $1050 - $1300 each month per student.
• Weekend and/or vacation coverage is available.
• If you refer a new family by May 31, you can earn a referral bonus of $500 for every new host family you refer who is approved and successfully completes at least one month of hosting. Here is the link to make a referral: https://www.rminternational.ca/homestay2
