Each year, as part of a continuous improvement cycle, Rocky Mountain School District develops an operational plan that outlines the goals and strategies that will be the focus of the work for the upcoming year. This plan is guided by the current 4-year strategic plan using a variety of student data as the foundation for decision making, schools develop school success plans that identifies targets for improving student learning.

JUSTB4 registration now open in Kimberley

The Rocky Mountain School District is excited to continue offering a licensed Pre-K Program in Kimberley for children who will be starting Kindergarten in September 2025!

JUSTB4 is a Ministry of Education and Child Care provincial pilot project and is specifically designed to offer early learning experiences for children who are turning 5 by December 31, 2025.

JUSTB4 is facilitated by a certified Early Childhood Educator and an Early Childhood Educator Assistant. The focus is on utilizing the BC Early Learning Framework and taking a whole-child approach to teaching and learning. Children will play an active role in guiding the learning through play-based activities and social interactions.
