École Lady Grey Elementary, Golden
The school district is pleased to report that Natasha Ostopovich has been appointed Acting Vice Principal at École Lady Grey Elementary for the 2025-26 school year effective August 1, 2025.
Natasha is currently a member of the teaching staff at both Golden Alternate School and Rocky Mountain Online Learning. Prior to joining the Rocky Mountain School District in 2024, Natasha served as Vice Principal at Fort Nelson Secondary School where she taught a variety of courses and oversaw Student Services and Inclusive Education. Natasha has a history of building strong relationships with students, families and colleagues and she is excited to join the team at Lady Grey for the 2025-26 school year. Congratulations Natasha!
District Leadership News
In addition to her responsibilities as District Principal of Indigenous Learning & Equity, Jenny Reid will be taking on the role of Secretariat of the Indigenous Education Council effective immediately. In this capacity, Jenny will take direction from the school district’s newly formed Indigenous Education Council (IEC) and liaise between the IEC and the Board of Education/School District. Jenny will provide support to the IEC co-chairs Chenoa Paccagnan and Faye O’Neil with agenda setting, information sharing, and other operational logistics.
District Principal of Early Learning, Glenn Goslin, will see a change in his portfolio for the 2025-26 school year. Glenn will assume responsibility for literacy learning, including the implementation of the Ministry’s new K-12 Literacy Initiative, as well as perform duties under the umbrella of Inclusive Education. Crystal MacLeod, Director of Instruction, Early Learning and Child Care, will work alongside Glenn during this transition and adjust responsibilities as necessary.
Trent Dolgopol, Director of Instruction for Technology, Innovative Learning & Indigenous Education, will also have shifting responsibilities in the 2025-26 school year. While maintaining his responsibilities related to Educational Technology and MyEdBC, Trent’s work will focus on secondary education including Graduation program, trades and career partnerships, and alternate and distance learning programs. He will also oversee Safer Schools for the Rocky Mountain School District.
