Schools across School District No. 6 (Rocky Mountain) will be closed on Monday, September 19, 2022 following the Government of Canada's announcement of a national day of mourning to mark the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Government of B.C. announced yesterday that it will follow the lead of the federal government and will join with other provinces in observing the national day of mourning to commemorate the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.  K-12 public public schools and government agencies will be closed.

School will resume on Tuesday, September 20.
