Crystal MacLeod and Kate Buium. Kate is a Knowledge Broker at the Human Early Learning Partnership (HELP) and invited Crystal and Glenn to speak.

The Early Learning team from Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 was invited by the Human Early Learning Partnership to present at last week’s UBC Early Years Conference in Vancouver.

Director of Instruction, Crystal MacLeod, and District Principal of Early Learning, Glenn Goslin, presented to over 200 attendees on the Childhood Experiences Questionnaire (CHEQ). They shared the high CHEQ completion rates across the school district which is attributed to schools embedding the CHEQ into their Kindergarten gradual entry every September and communicating with families how this information allows them to better understand and support their child as they transition into the school system. Crystal and Glenn also spoke about how CHEQ data is used for planning at the school level and community level.
