Each year, as part of a continuous improvement cycle, Rocky Mountain School District develops an operational plan that outlines the goals and strategies that will be the focus of the work for the upcoming year. This plan is guided by the current 4-year strategic plan using a variety of student data as the foundation for decision making, schools develop school success plans that identifies targets for improving student learning.

School District No. 6 (Rocky Mountain) offers 5 StrongStart programs that provide rich learning environments designed for to promote early learning development. 

These programs are led by qualified Early Childhood Educators and offer children and parents an opportunity to interact with others, of similar ages, which help prepare children for success in Kindergarten. 

The play-based activities include stories, music and art at no cost to families.  Recently our programs received some new toys that are designed to promote inclusion, language, physical, cognitive and social emotional development.  For more information on our StrongStart programs please visit:
