Saxyn is a grade four student whose superpower is reading and writing braille.  Here is Saxyn typing braille on a Perkins Brailler opposite Sierra Horn, Edgewater Elementary School’s Braille Transcriptionist. 

Saxyn's class will celebrate World Braille Day with him today.   They will practice their knowledge of the braille code and its history; activities will include braille bingo, writing secret messages, a braille trivia quiz and decorating cookies with their braille initials made from chocolate chips.
