Teachers and principals from 4-7 schools meet in Invermere to work on a District-wide numeracy project.

On November 30, Numeracy Leaders from all schools with grades 4 through 7, came together in Invermere for a day of collaborative professional learning.

Much of the day was spent planning for a project in the new year that will see students sharing their numerate thinking with other students across the district.

The project is centered around connecting learners and teachers, improving written communication, and the draft proficiency descriptors in numeracy.

The District is very excited to follow the students' numeracy project!
