Today, School District No. 6 (Rocky Mountain) recognizes and celebrates the tremendous contributions that the Operations, Maintenance, Custodial, and Transportation Services teams provide to the District and to our school communities.
Our Operations, Maintenance, and Custodial Teams keep our facilities and grounds safe and looking great. The list is extensive but here are just a few of the jobs these teams do:
- Facility and asset capital planning
- Warehousing and inventory control of custodial products
- Waste management
- Life safety system maintenance (ex. fire prevention, sprinkler maintenance, battery systems)
- HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical maintenance
- Painting
- Site maintenance
Our Transportation Team safely transports roughly 1600 students daily on our 21 regular bus routes. The transportation program includes student management (i.e. registration, student safety), bus driving, and fleet management.
