Last week, administrators from K-3 and K-7 schools from across the school district along with the District Vice Principal of Numeracy gathered for their third day of learning this school year facilitated by the District Principal of Early Learning. Working with the BC Early Learning Framework, this group deepened their understanding of how play-based learning tasks support the redesigned curriculum and how educators can gather traces of learning, make those visible through pedagogical narration, and plan strategic learning goals for their students through collaborative, reflective dialogue.
