Each year, as part of a continuous improvement cycle, Rocky Mountain School District develops an operational plan that outlines the goals and strategies that will be the focus of the work for the upcoming year. This plan is guided by the current 4-year strategic plan using a variety of student data as the foundation for decision making, schools develop school success plans that identifies targets for improving student learning.

Are you considering running for the School District No. 6 (Rocky Mountain) Board of Education?

The 2022 General Local Elections will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022. The British Columbia School Trustees Association has created a guide for Trustee candidates. For more information on election procedures, advertising, and financing rules visit Elections BC and the Ministry of Education and Child Care.

The nomination period opens on August 30, 2022. Information and nomination packages are available on our local government partners' websites, Regional District of East Kootenay, Town of Golden, District of Invermere, and the City of Kimberley.
